Kajfa at the 9th Days of passive house in Croatia

From 11 till 13 of November 2016, at the Faculty of Architecture in Zagreb, 9th Days of passive house in Croatia took place which were attended by numerous exhibitors and experts in the field of low energy and passive construction. Three day international conference was co-organized by the Faculty of Architecture University of Zagreb, Passive house consortium Croatia, cities, many institutions and associations, media sponsors, partners and exhibitors.

As part of the conference, our company had a presentation with a theme “Energy efficient windows and doors”. The presentation was held by the head of sales Antun Hrvoje Bulić who presented the activities of our company, standards in today's market of PVC joinery and also a part of our innovative and interesting product range, which, in cooperation with partners from the German company Gealan, we offer to our customers for some time.

At the beginning of the conference attendees were welcomed by, among others, prof. Ljubomir Miščević, head of the Passive house consortium Croatia, Minister of  Construction and Physical Planning Lovro Kuščević, Head of Department at Energy Efficiency and Environmental Protection Fund. Ms. Irena Dubravec, head of the Zagreb City office for energy, environment protection and sustainable development Marijan Maras, president of the Association of Croatian Architects Ms. Sanja Cvjetko Jerković and Dean of the Faculty of Architecture Mr. Krunoslav Šmit.

This year's Days of passive houses in Croatia was characterized by rich three-day program which included a number of lectures, presentations, workshops, exhibitions and professional tours that presented new projects, new construction materials and systems, installation systems and equipment of high energy efficiency, energy efficiency through the examples of the most advanced models of architecture within the framework of legal rules and standards of the Republic of Croatia and the EU, investment models including incentives and financial support, etc.
